What to expect
Boulder City’s Best Dam Country Jam is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at Veterans Park. The event opens at noon and runs until 8 p.m., while the live-entertainment portion is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m.
The Boulder City Chamber of Commerce is producing the event with Prestige Worldwide. Organizers describe a family day with food and country music; the local event listing also advertises activities for children.
Plan your visit
The difference between the opening time and the first live music is worth noting when deciding when to arrive. Visitors primarily interested in the performances should plan around the published 4 p.m. music start.
Tickets, artist information and parking directions are linked from the official site. The organizer’s FAQ says inclement weather would move the gathering to the following Sunday at the same time. Check for a weather-related update before leaving for Boulder City.
Tickets, parking and weather
The organizer lists $25 admission, with children 12 and younger admitted free without a ticket. Parking inside the park is limited and first come, starting at noon; RVs and motorhomes are not allowed. Keep your ticket QR code ready on a phone or printed copy.
The FAQ prohibits outside food and drinks, coolers and tents, and says tickets are nonrefundable. In bad weather, the stated fallback is the following Sunday at the same time. Music begins at 4 p.m., four hours after the event opens.
