An opportunity to recognize a neighbor

Las Vegas is accepting nominations for the 2026 HONOR Latino Awards through Sunday, Nov. 15. The city describes this as the fifth annual installment of the program.

Five categories

The current nomination categories are Nuestro Futuro Emerging Leader, Advancing Arts & Culture, Community Impact, Educating Our Community Trailblazer and Outstanding Leadership Trailblazer. They recognize different kinds of service, from developing leaders to educators and people with a long record of community contribution.

Use the current form

The official city announcement links the nomination form and explains category-specific conditions. Review those descriptions before selecting a category, particularly where the requirements identify Latino educators, emerging leaders or work advancing Latino arts and culture.

A practical next step

Compile examples of the nominee's work and its effect on the Las Vegas community. The nomination notice is the source for current instructions; older lists of winners can include different categories and should not replace this year's form.
