The new phase
Agora Realty has started construction on the third and final phase of Hylo Park, according to an October 5 report by Connect CRE. The overall master plan covers 73 acres in North Las Vegas; the final phase occupies 25 acres and is reported as a $375 million investment.
Agora shared a September 30 KTNV report describing new renderings and partnerships for Hylo Park North. The planned program includes a large indoor sports facility, a renovated multi-sport arena, shopping, a hotel and a sports academy.
What is proposed and what is already built
Connect CRE reported plans for a 250,000-square-foot indoor fieldhouse and a 177-room Embassy Suites, alongside outdoor gathering areas and other uses. Completion of the new phase is targeted for late 2027. These facilities should be described as under development, not already available to visitors.
Earlier phases are at different stages. The developer completed Hylo Park South’s grocery-anchored retail center in July 2026, according to the same report. Agora previously sold 36.5 acres to Lennar for the residential part of the master plan in late 2024.
The arena can host activity while construction continues
A September KTNV report said Agora was working toward a Nevada home for Special Olympics at Hylo Park and had announced partnerships involving TruGame and Adidas. It also described a basketball tournament planned inside the renovated arena in November. Those announcements give the existing arena a role before the larger fieldhouse and hotel are completed.
Some relationships remain aspirations: Agora chief executive Cary Lefton told the station that the company hoped to work with the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association and bring pre-draft training through Elevate Sports Alliance. A stated hope should not be presented as a signed agreement or a scheduled event.
The arena itself has a separate renovation story. In May, Agora reported a major equipment failure and an estimated 12-to-14-month upgrade period for the ice-making system. Its plan included expanding bleacher capacity to about 2,500 seats and using interim programming during the closure. A basketball event therefore does not establish that the ice rink has returned to normal skating operations.
Education is part of the announced district
Agora’s October announcement describes a planned 40,000-square-foot home for Game Changers Sports Academy inside the fieldhouse. The academy is described as a college-preparatory hybrid-learning program, with an academic schedule designed around student-athletes’ training and travel. That is a distinct use within the larger building, not additional fieldhouse square footage on top of the reported total.
The announcement also names Advent and PMY Group as collaborators on visitor experience and technology. These are elements of the development program; they do not establish a finished attraction or a measurable economic benefit.
The land previously held Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho, which Agora acquired in 2023 for the redevelopment. The staged approach now combines an already-built shopping center, housing development, interim arena uses and a larger sports district still under construction. Residents should follow each component’s notices when checking what is actually available.
Why the phases matter
Hylo Park is not a single building opening on a single day. Housing, neighborhood shopping and the sports-focused district are separate components. For nearby residents, future announcements about tenants, hotel reservations and sports programming will provide a clearer picture of when each new use becomes available.
