Two companies, one program

Vegas City Opera and Nevada Shakespeare Festival collaborate on The Mad Mind of Shakespeare at Charleston Heights Arts Center. The program combines opera and spoken language through material associated with Hamlet, Othello and Macbeth.

There are two performances: Friday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, October 17, at 3 p.m. Neither listing establishes a finishing time.

Tickets and discounts

General admission is listed at $30. The city advertises $20 tickets for seniors and veterans using the codes SENIOR10 and MILITARY10 respectively. Check the selected performance and any checkout charges before completing a purchase.

Both performances are at 800 Brush Street. The calendar download contains separate entries, making it easier to keep the evening show and the afternoon show straight.
