A new coordinated-services campus
SafeNest’s One Safe Place has opened on Meadows Lane. The nonprofit set October 15 as its grand-opening date, and the Las Vegas Sun reported the opening on October 19. SafeNest describes it as Nevada’s first affiliated Family Justice Center: a place intended to bring advocacy, legal services, health care, counseling and partner organizations together rather than requiring survivors to navigate separate agencies.
What the partner announcement establishes
In its June 29 announcement, SafeNest identified the multibuilding site as 3820 Meadows Lane and said 21 community partners had committed to the project. Its announced service network includes victim-witness advocacy, employment assistance, food-benefit connections and legal representation at temporary protective-order hearings.
Those commitments are not a guarantee that every partner is available without an appointment whenever someone arrives. The announcement distinguishes some on-site services from referrals to off-site care and shelter. The reviewed opening page does not provide a current service-by-service appointment schedule, so this brief does not promise walk-in access to a particular provider.
Where to start for help
SafeNest lists its domestic-violence hotline, 702-646-4981, as available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers an online advocate chat through its website. That is the organization’s published support contact, not a claim that the new campus is open around the clock.
The One Safe Place page also offers sign-ups for weekly guided tours led by the center’s vice president. A tour is a separate activity from seeking services. Use SafeNest’s current information to confirm the appropriate destination and arrangements; no shelter location or private client information is included here.
