A date for the next restaurant arrival

The Corner Store is scheduled to open at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on November 9, according to MGM Resorts’ October 2 announcement. The company says reservations are now available.

The restaurant comes from Tilman Fertitta, Eugene Remm and Catch Hospitality Group, with chef Michael Vignola leading the kitchen. MGM describes Las Vegas as the first expansion of the New York concept.

What is confirmed

MGM’s announcement also describes a private dining room for up to 24 guests, with the ability to divide the space. The project extends an existing relationship between MGM and Catch Hospitality Group, which previously brought CATCH to Aria in 2018.

A New York Post report on October 5 independently covered the November 9 plan. That is corroboration of an announced opening date, not evidence that Las Vegas service has already begun.

Book for a future visit

For residents organizing a celebration or hosting visitors, the useful development is that the reservation process has opened. Check the booking terms and the current menu directly with the restaurant before committing to a group plan.

As of October 6, this remains an upcoming opening. Promotional descriptions, renderings and a New York reputation do not establish the experience at a dining room that has not yet welcomed its first Las Vegas service.
