A different kind of cafe visit

Hello Kitty Cafe’s newest Las Vegas location is operating on Level 2 of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, near the spiral escalators. Sanrio’s official listing separates its counter-service treats and merchandise from the Bow Room, where afternoon tea and a savory menu are offered through reservations.

That distinction matters for planning: stopping for a drink or a souvenir is different from arranging a seated tea experience. The official site links directly to the reservation provider.

September debut

Eater reported that the cafe began operating September 10, while FOX5 described September 18 as the official grand opening. Both accounts place the new venue in a 3,400-square-foot space. Rather than treating those reports as interchangeable, the dates describe two reported stages of its September arrival.

FOX5’s preview described an expanded pastry program and a 90-minute tea service. Eater’s subsequent report listed both sweet and savory choices. Current availability and tea pricing should be confirmed through the booking page, especially for a group.

What the expanded menu adds

The September reporting describes a broader food offering than a simple pastry kiosk. Eater listed savory items including sliders, flatbreads, chicken tenders and shrimp cocktail, alongside the cafe’s sweets. That gives a party considering a seated visit a reason to examine both sides of the menu rather than assuming tea is the only option.

Among the drinks in Eater’s report were cinnamon-sugar lattes, chocolate-cookie cold brew and pistachio matcha lattes. Its dessert examples included taiyaki with soft serve, macarons, cream puffs and ube cupcakes. FOX5 separately identified My Melody strawberry shortcake and matcha cream puffs among the expanded pastry selections.

These were reported opening-period offerings, not a guarantee of daily stock. Sanrio’s location page links to the Forum Shops menu, which is the appropriate place to check current selections instead of borrowing a menu from the Park or another city.

The Bow Room and retail area

FOX5 described the Bow Room as the city’s first for the brand, with dedicated tea seatings. For a birthday or another planned outing, the reservation length matters as much as the cafe’s overall opening hours: a tea appointment is a scheduled experience, while shopping for merchandise is a separate activity.

Sanrio says the location carries exclusive apparel, accessories and souvenirs. The launch coverage included bags, jackets, tumblers and plush toys among the retail assortment. A specific item may sell out, so the presence of an opening-week photograph does not establish current inventory.

Guests can use Sanrio’s own reservation link to reach the Las Vegas Tock page. Confirm the package contents and booking terms there before paying, especially if the party expects a full meal rather than a tea assortment.

Finding the right location

The Forum Shops address is 3500 South Las Vegas Boulevard. Sanrio lists hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, with a 10 p.m. close Friday and Saturday. These are the Forum Shops cafe’s published hours; travelers should not assume they apply to other Hello Kitty locations in the valley.
