A closer look at local work.

Hey Neighbor helps homeowners explore contractors through available public project records across the Las Vegas area.

Choose a neighborhood and project type, see who has recorded activity nearby, and explore each company’s experience and saved Nevada license information.

What the records tell you

Activity counts show available permit records. They are not customer reviews, quality ratings, or a guarantee that work was completed. Several permits can relate to one job.

A verified license label describes a saved license check. It does not guarantee workmanship, insurance, or a clean disciplinary history. Check the details and dates on the contractor’s profile.

Independent record research

Hey Neighbor maintains this directory and its homeowner project guides. The government agencies that publish the underlying records do not operate or endorse this site. A listed company is not automatically a partner or a recommendation.

Our top picks focus on documented local experience and matched active licenses in saved checks. The wider directory is ordered by available recorded activity for the selected filters. Our methodology explains how these differ. Company profiles provide direct business links where the identity is established. For researched profiles, phone numbers and service summaries are checked against the company’s own website. Calling or visiting that site connects you directly with the business.

How the guides are prepared

Our guides start with the homeowner’s problem and compare repair, maintenance and replacement options. Sources include local companies, equipment manufacturers and public agencies. Each guide identifies its sources and review date, and distinguishes a company’s advertised services from the work documented in public records.

The guides are published by Hey Neighbor. A publication date or organization byline does not imply a licensed professional has inspected your home or reviewed an individual diagnosis. We name an outside technical reviewer only when that review has actually taken place.

Help keep it accurate

Public records can contain outdated names, missing information, and mistakes. Tell us about a correction so it can be reviewed against its source.
